Forged in a Star part 2

All that you are and
All you'll become
Was forged in a star and
Will burn in the sun.

Atoms exchanged
From near and far,
Billions of brains,
Seconds apart.

Just six degrees
And we're all friends,
Murderers, thieves...
That all depends.

Be what you are but
Know where your from
You're made of stars but
So's everyone.

Why do you run?

You're stuck in the same rut again;
Looking for enemies
Among your friends.
You keep saying how bad it's been.
But was it really
Any different then?

You'll never be content.
You're your own detriment.

Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
No ones chasing you.
Don't you know that's no way to solve them?
Don't ya let a problem carry you.

Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
Try to see them through.

You found a new way out of life.
Honing your fear,
Sharper than a knife.
I can't prove you wrong in a fight.
You're keeping every issue
Out of your short sight.

What happens to your friends,
When you abandon them?

Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
No ones chasing you.
Don't you know that's no way to solve them?
Don't ya let a problem carry you.

Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
Try to see them through.

Sonnet 3

The pale blue moon is flirting through the clouds.
It pulls ever so slightly at the waves.
We'd talk beneath its glow, in misty shrouds.
And like the moon, you'd slowly drift away.

I once believed that you were both so close.
At least in pictures that's the way it seems.
I guess that shows how little I must know.
For both you and the moon escape my dreams.

But I will try to slowly pull you in.
A grain each time, as tides retrieve the shore.
And as the setting moon turns red and dim;
It also seems much lager than before.

And should our slowing spin halt your depart,
        You'd shine-at night-no brighter than a star.

Sonnet 2

Why do you have to be named after the
Brightest celestial object in the sky?
Is this a joke that's being played on me,
As stars line up to form your Bowie eyes?

Some times-at night-I gaze at the thin air,
Imagining each light so far apart.
Like me, they're all alone in dark despair.
It's nice to know so many kindred hearts.

But I told you I'd live my life this way;
Adrift, without your charitable love.
I'm left with only memories of days
When jealous stars would watch us from above.

If I can't gaze in to those eyes again,
At least I'll be sure to remember them.
