All that you are and
All you'll become
Was forged in a star and
Will burn in the sun.
Atoms exchanged
From near and far,
Billions of brains,
Seconds apart.
Just six degrees
And we're all friends,
Murderers, thieves...
That all depends.
Be what you are but
Know where your from
You're made of stars but
So's everyone.
All that we are and all that will come, was forged in a star and will burn in the sun.

Why do you run?
You're stuck in the same rut again;
Looking for enemies
Among your friends.
You keep saying how bad it's been.
But was it really
Any different then?
You'll never be content.
You're your own detriment.
Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
No ones chasing you.
Don't you know that's no way to solve them?
Don't ya let a problem carry you.
Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
Try to see them through.
You found a new way out of life.
Honing your fear,
Sharper than a knife.
I can't prove you wrong in a fight.
You're keeping every issue
Out of your short sight.
What happens to your friends,
When you abandon them?
Why do you run, runaway
From your problems?
No ones chasing you.
Don't you know that's no way to solve them?
Don't ya let a problem carry you.

Sonnet 3
The pale blue moon is flirting through the clouds.
It pulls ever so slightly at the waves.
We'd talk beneath its glow, in misty shrouds.
And like the moon, you'd slowly drift away.
I once believed that you were both so close.
At least in pictures that's the way it seems.
I guess that shows how little I must know.
For both you and the moon escape my dreams.
But I will try to slowly pull you in.
A grain each time, as tides retrieve the shore.
And as the setting moon turns red and dim;
It also seems much lager than before.
And should our slowing spin halt your depart,
You'd shine-at night-no brighter than a star.
It pulls ever so slightly at the waves.
We'd talk beneath its glow, in misty shrouds.
And like the moon, you'd slowly drift away.
I once believed that you were both so close.
At least in pictures that's the way it seems.

Why do you have to be named after the
Brightest celestial object in the sky?
Is this a joke that's being played on me,
As stars line up to form your Bowie eyes?
Some times-at night-I gaze at the thin air,
Imagining each light so far apart.
Like me, they're all alone in dark despair.
It's nice to know so many kindred hearts.
But I told you I'd live my life this way;
Adrift, without your charitable love.
I'm left with only memories of days
When jealous stars would watch us from above.
If I can't gaze in to those eyes again,
At least I'll be sure to remember them.

I'm Doin' Fine
When you cut me
And I bleed
Coffee,
When I cry
And my eyes leak
Liquid THC,
I'm pretty happy.
I'm doing fine;
I got traces of LSD
Floating in my spine.
Life is
A series
Of chemical reactions,
I chose them
Carefully
To my own satisfaction.
When my sweat tastes
Like fine
Whiskey,
When the air I breath
Is heavily
Laced with nicotine,
I'm doing alright;
Better than I've been.
I can recollect the effects
Of psychopsilocybin.
Life is
A series
Of chemical reactions,
I chose them
Carefully
To my own satisfaction.
When you cut me I bleed coffee
And my tears are made of THC.
It's a good night when there's whiskey
And I got my fix of nicotine.
And I bleed
Coffee,
When I cry
And my eyes leak
Liquid THC,
I'm pretty happy.

Breath Deep, Be Easy
Yeah, I know you're the boss man.
And I can see you are pretty important.
Get off my back for a second.
And Think about just how little I'm askin'.
I can't
See how
You can live this way.
Breathe deep,
Be easy,
Take your stress away.
Breath deep,
Breath deep,
Don't take that shit out
On me.
Breath deep,
Breath deep,
Be easy.
Yeah, I'm getting your point man.
But its your attitude that I just can't stand.
I'm hearin' all that you're sayin'.
Now shut the fuck up and try to pay attention.
I can't
Explain
Any other way.
Breath deep,
Be easy,
Take your stress away.
Breath deep,
Breath deep,
Just calm the fuck down
Buddy.
Breath deep,
Breath deep,
Be easy.

My best friend a Dominatrix
My best friend
Is a dominatrix
She's beat up dudes
In all different kinds of places
Her work clothes
Are black leather and laces
She makes good money
Punching dudes in their faces
They give her cars
And brand new cellphones
She gives them scars
And broken bones
My best friend
Is a dominatrix
Asked her if she had
A little bag of tricks
No, she said
I just beat those faggots
Some of them want to be whipped
But I prefer my fists
They give her pills
And brand new clothes
She gives me the chills
The most bad-ass girl I know
Is a dominatrix
She's beat up dudes
In all different kinds of places

Sonnet 1
For one more day to spend alone with you,
I'd spill my own cold blood out on the floor.
Would I do what most think they could not do?
To revisit those days where we got bored.
I'm no realist but loss can be unreal,
And I can't seem to leave it all to fate.
The afterlife-for me-holds no appeal;
The dark arts or science might show the way.
But I could lose much more than I would gain,
I'd tear apart the thinner threads of time.
Likely enduring some new kind of pain,
To tell you things that have been on my mind.
I'd do it again, for every lost friend;
All wounds have to heal... so why should lives end?
I'd spill my own cold blood out on the floor.
Would I do what most think they could not do?
To revisit those days where we got bored.
I'm no realist but loss can be unreal,

Just Two Kids
It hasn't been too much time since those long days of play in the sunshine.
The pitter-patter of your footsteps were never far behind.
I wonder what it would be like if we could stay those two tykes.
We would never grow up, no we'd never move on... for the rest of our lives.
Who could blame us?
Who would shame us?
Just to kids in love.
It's realy not so hard to believe that our lives would be so easy
If we just stayed young and dumb, And blissfully naive.
Sometimes I think I can go back there, to a life so simple and far from despair;
When every little problem blew away with the air and the last thing we'd ever do was care.
Who would blame us?
Who could shame us?
Just two kids in love.
But now life is always so busy
And no one ever seems to give me
A break, they just take,
And make things harder than they should be
But who should blame us?
Who would shame us?
Just two kids in love?
No one could budge us,
And they'd never judge us
If we were just two kids in love.
The pitter-patter of your footsteps were never far behind.

Rocket Ship
I'd like to move to a place where the sidewalks are wide
So we could spend all the days there walking side by side
(And I probably won't get hit by cars)
But I'd really rather go out in to outer space
So we won't have to see anybody else's face
(And no global warming or meteors)
Oh we'd be so much better off
Circling the moon
If things work out the way I planned
We might be there soon
It would be nice to have a house with a picket fence
Painted white as a statement of our establishment
(And the cops would keep out minorities)
If I could have a space ship to fly to distant stars
I'd take you to a place where pain is far from our hearts
(And we'd survive an outbreak of zombies)
Oh we'd be so much better off
Orbiting 'round Mars
If things work out the way I planned
This is just the start
But nothings gonna get done
If we're staring at the sun
Living on a little blue ball
No wonder our dreams are so small
Help me build a rocket ship
Show them we don't give a shit
Forget about all your problems
Running away always solves them
Oh we'd be so much better off
Blasting past Neptune
If things work out the way I planned

Gray
There's no such thing as black and white
-Especially in this day and age-
There's bits of color (specs of light)
In the dullest shades of gray.
And should you spy on spectrum's seen
-Beyond or below red blue green-
Then my friend (you mite be keen)
To just how little lies between.
All our senses are so weak.
An unknown sound rings in your ears.
Hearing only when we speak;
Distorting truth to make it clear.
All our cells are rearranged
(Bombarded by Gama rays.)
Evolutions course has changed,
It's become our pet and slave.
Dissected under microscopes!
We're taking every wrong approach;
We treated science like a joke
(Depending on misguided hope.)
The bastard kids of entropy
-Our minds designed by pure mistake-
Imagining that we are free,
Instead of being tools of fate.

The Prisoners Return
On a planet (made a prison)
With the wide eye watching all.
When it's captives
Cried for freedom
At heroes too far
(To hear their call.)
A world where nothing is forgiven;
And the strong all drowned in shame.
And it's worst lies
Remain hidden,
So the weak still
Carry the blame.
They thought no bars were needed there.
The young were taught to fall in line.
They made their clothes from human hair.
Forgot the value of a life.
The watchers saw violence rising.
They rushed to replace all of the dead.
And they opened
The iron sky,
While wrapping the noose
Around their neck.
The inmates all boarded their ships;
The rapists and the killers first.
The taste of
Death on their lips
Their captors couldn't
Please their thirst.
Madmen staring out in to space,
For the first time with their own eyes...
Making their way back to this place!
Watch for them on the darkest nights.
With the wide eye watching all.
When it's captives
Cried for freedom
At heroes too far
(To hear their call.)
A world where nothing is forgiven;
And the strong all drowned in shame.

Stareater
Unseen monster of celestial skies;
Swallowing giants in a single bite.
Giving no warning,
It darkens the nights.
Fear the Stareater,
Defeater of light.
Some say it's shadow appeared with the bang;
Chasing all creatures away with its fangs.
You mite be lucky
To make the escape.
I say you're only
Delaying your fate.
The Stareater's bearing down;
Blacking out the moon.
The witches tricks can be unbound.
The sword she keeps will be his doom.
Kill the old wizard who can't keep his word.
Fly though the sky's
On the back of a bird.
Find the old monster by his shining eye;
Cut out the star there
And take home your prize.

The Barber Shop
You say society has butchered your arms and legs,
To sew you to the waist of a man (to make a monster.)
I say let them take my head
-And place you on my shoulders-
so we mite make
so we mite make
A more beautiful beast!
My love for you made me stupid anyway;
(I want to buy you flowers and shit.)
As if the sex organ of a dead plant
Would convince you to display yours
In a similar crude fashion.
So as we'd slip and stumble
On the blood of the ones we once loved;
The awkward and disgusting scene
Mite seem funny to me,
If I still had a head.
And should some white knight
Burst through that door (to save you)
The beast that we became
Would laugh at how small
(And weak) he is.
This savior you hoped for had it all wrong!
He would place
Your limbless body
In some bed,
Inside a palace,
With no need to worry
-That you mite go somewhere (Or do something.)
The solution I proposed
Makes more sense to me;
As dumb as I've become,
It's still simple to see...
That its better then writing poems (with run-on sentences)
That don't even rhyme
At the rite times,
Only to fizzle out, as I grow tired of writing.

Reds
You drag me through
This short sweet life
I pull the smoke
From your inside
Your soft white flesh
Turns black then bright
The tar and ash
Escapes the light
And when my lungs
Fill up with you
I let you out
You pass me through
The harshness of
Your swift depart
Scalding my lungs
Constricts my heart
I breathe the air
So plain and cold
You swim through me
As I unfold
I press you down
Into the ground
A sense of peace
Is almost found
This short sweet life
I pull the smoke
From your inside
Your soft white flesh
Turns black then bright
The tar and ash
Escapes the light
And when my lungs
Fill up with you
I let you out
You pass me through

Harbinger
I am the ashes of simpler days
The will of my origins runs through my veins
The millions before me have been laid to waste
Their bones made the mountains their blood filled the plains
Worship the terror, build it a home
Suffer together or face me alone
I wade through an ocean made crimson red
Bathing among the millions of dead
Drinking in deep from the thick soup of gore
Feeling revived as I step on to shore
Worship the hatred, build it a home
Suffer the fear or face it alone
The wars that we wage over thousands of years
Crippled the populous with their own fear
Submitting their lives to the crack of a whip
A word of defiance won't pass through their lips
The will of your leaders constructed your tomb
No profits or preachers predict their own doom
They lead all the weak down to the unknown
Rather than suffer their fate on their own

The Tale of the Cannibal
All the scrapes and scars (Am,C,E,Am))
On the cannibal's heart,
Never get the time to heal. (C,E,Am)
And, his animal bones
Won't leave him alone
Always seekin' out his next meal.
Trampled under toe, (C,E,Am)
His own scaffolding would fold.
You know, you can't compete with mass appeal.
Any bargain is a bribe
Seen through his two beady eyes;
When the bullets fly you're his human shield. (E,Am)
Those possessed by greed, (Dm,Am,E,Am)
Mite as well just feed
Off the flesh of their own kind.
When obsessed with jealousy,
It's impossible to see
How eye's for eye's will make us all blind.
Mite as well just feed
Off the flesh of their own kind.
When obsessed with jealousy,
It's impossible to see
How eye's for eye's will make us all blind.
He had no shame in his soul.
Said he'd lost all control
When he realized, we all die alone.
At the tender age of eight
It was already too late...
In his heart, the hatred made a home.
When he met one of his kin,
They were lookin' kinda thin...
'Til they sucked dry his cannibal bones
So I hope you think twice,
If hurting people is your vice,
Now that this animal's story is known.

Fingers
Tiny little fingers, spring from the ground
Under everything there, another one sprouts
Given enough time, they should take forms of hands
Providing shelter, to all of the land
Two trees are sprouting, from our of our arms
Most used for loving, but some times for harm
I try to use mine, the best that I can
Inspired by fingers, that grew in to hands
The trees and our hands, learn in similar ways
Bark and skin thicken, through rougher days
They change with the seasons
The things that they do
When your hands commit treason
How would trees handle you?
Under everything there, another one sprouts
Given enough time, they should take forms of hands
Providing shelter, to all of the land
Two trees are sprouting, from our of our arms
Most used for loving, but some times for harm

That House
There's a lonely little home
Way out in the back
Just a shady bungalow
Off that beaten track
That where the beer taps
Never stopped flowing
They always got a pound on stash
And twenty more growing
And any passersby
Don't even realize
All the secrets that it's keepin'
Hidden from their eyes
There's a party starting there
Every single day
Each so fun
That everyone
Who came decides to stay
Songs are played
That no one knows
They sing along
And tap their toes
And any passersby
Won't even realize
That every door is unlocked
And they're all welcome inside
Well there's a lonely little home
I'd show you if I could
But all I really know
Is that it's somewhere in the woods
And why would I be here
In a world so thick with fear
If I could join the endless fun
With the rest who disappeared

Following Fools
As Vandals dismantle
the fragile framework of a lie.
The quiet deny it
let it gather and grow inside.
But first and much worse
are the few who are tempted to try.
To tinker and tamper
with proof that would show you the light.
Pleased to pull the wool
over your squinted eyes.
Teach you all about fear
and how it's better to hide.
Praise be to the fool
prisons for the rest.
People getting fat
the others just starved to death
Those trying are lying
but mostly to them selves.
We wont see a world peace
when nothing we do helps.
Revolt, rebuild, repeat
the only solution I see.
Revolt, rebuild, repeat
there's no other way to be free.
the fragile framework of a lie.
The quiet deny it

Entropy
Endlessly expanding engine of time
Navigate the universe down history's line
Tirelessly take them through each of their lives
Relentless trend, your creations are everything contrived
Order's only observed in old things we find
Products probably predating your present state of mind
Your chaotic ways make the years seem like days, I owe you all I call mine.

Two Feet Deep
In a shallow grave,
Should I die, would you bury me?
Somewhere by the oceans bay.
With the earth barely hiding me.
In a shallow grave,
In the sand still wet from the sea.
Tell the ocean to send it's waves,
So the barnacles can feed off me.
And should I sink in to the sand,
Please do not shed a tear.
For when I'm not a living man,
I will not disappear.
Should these feet start peeking out,
Of the soft eroding beach;
Take comfort knowing I'm about,
To go home to the sea.
In a shallow grave,
Toss away that old husk of me.
No longer that body's slave.
Just living on in memories
In a shallow grave,
Please, make sure it's not too deep.
Watch me as I'm whisked away,
Because none of us are here for keeps.
And when I sink in to the sand,
Please do not shed a tear.
For once I'm not a living man,
I will not disappear.
And when these feet start peeking out,
Of the soft eroding land;
Take comfort knowing I'm about,
To head out just as planned.
Should I die, would you bury me?
Somewhere by the oceans bay.
With the earth barely hiding me.
In a shallow grave,
In the sand still wet from the sea.
Tell the ocean to send it's waves,

To head out just as planned.

This Great Ordeal
Once I was naive
I thought I knew it all but I was wrong
Now I can see
There never was an answer all along
There are always more questions to be asked when answers are revealed
There will never be an end to this great ordeal
Cause don't you know we act like ants
The gears of a clock
We all do the dance like bees when they talk
I would like to think there's more
Than just what we see
But I rather waste my time on what's around me
There are always more questions to be asked when answers are revealed
There will never be an end to this great ordeal
And one day we may see the end
Of this great race
As some of us transcend
The rest get replaced
I invite you to evolve
Unite with machines
All your problems could be solved
By modifying your genes
I thought I knew it all but I was wrong
Now I can see
There never was an answer all along
There are always more questions to be asked when answers are revealed
There will never be an end to this great ordeal
Cause don't you know we act like ants
The gears of a clock
We all do the dance like bees when they talk
I would like to think there's more
Than just what we see
But I rather waste my time on what's around me
There are always more questions to be asked when answers are revealed
There will never be an end to this great ordeal
And one day we may see the end
Of this great race
As some of us transcend
The rest get replaced
I invite you to evolve
Unite with machines
All your problems could be solved
By modifying your genes

Two Feet
I walk
On my
Own road
With my
Two feet
I will not stray
And when
I get
To where
I go
I know
I can not stay
For my
Two feet
Are restless here
As they
Will always be
So my
Two legs
Will go and throw
Them out
In front of me
Well,
Since I've lived out of my back pocket
I've been fine on my own
And just as long as I keep walking
I'm never far from home
My two feet will take me where
I always want to be
It's never here and just too far
for you
to follow me

Transhuman
We went from desktops,
To laptops,
To computers in our palms.
And we evolved crops
Once we stopped
Building bigger bombs.
As we civilize
We save lives,
Our species will move on.
And then our minds
Mite combine
To replace this race, when we are gone.

Forged in a Star
On top a needle head there stands
A tiny little grain of sand
And on that speck there sits some dust
And living there is all of us
Fretting about our small lives
Thinking we've figured out why
All of the answers locked inside
Each of our tiny little minds
Tied with strings that traverse time
Nothing could ever sever these binds
We're floating through infinity
Out farther than we've ever seen
And in a blink to this grand scheme
Happens what we call everything
A universe afloat in space
Trillions of stars all interlaced
The weight we carry through our days
Is unseen in this vast dark place
Tied with strings that traverse time
Nothing could ever sever these binds
All that we are and all that will come
Was forged in a star and will burn in the sun
For all that we know this is all temporary
When the universe implodes what's the use in being wary?
All that we are and all that will come
