Sonnet 5

If we could live a sane life, you might see
That we are both the same-and so unique.
Degrees are separating you and me,
Their numbers shrinking-even as we speak.

When I'm at home I feel your gentle tug;
The unseen strings you pull have hold of me.
Surrendered to your touch, just like a drug...
And I have given you control of me.

But I've been in great need of some repair.
And all these pieces won't be puzzled out.
I'm dazzled by the short time that we share.
I'm hesitant to set aside my doubt.

      I'll always go through life, so free of shame
      When you speak to me through that unknown plane.

Sonnet 4

You are the sinking feeling in my chest;
The panic that attacks when I can't sleep,
The hyperventilating of my breath,
The hunched over position that I keep.

You ran away-each time-I ran your way;
You taught me that I'll always be alone.
Your eyes told me to stay the fuck away;
Your mouth told me the same, in bitter tones.

How ever I may try, to show to you
The monster that you made (inside my mind.)
The words come out so hollow and untrue;
The one's I tell you, are the one's I find.

        I breathe in deep and count backwards (from ten)
        To make sure I won't feel your pull again.
