Sonnet 11

The end result of hydrogen and time;
Collections of some atoms, self-aware.
Once chemistry developed complex minds,
It trusted everything in to our care.

Out from the web that mother nature wove,
There grew some spiders -spinning out new threads.-
We all continue this new kind of growth;
Creating brand new worlds, with each word said.

But you may say to me: it's all the same,
Or maybe, that we're worse off than before.
Our problems might have only us to blame;
Our brains will find new ways to create more.

       We're atoms that just found new ways to play.
       For tiny gods, I think we'll do okay.
